DR. BRUNO CUCCO
Center for Quantum Materials Engineering, The University of Texas at Austin, United States.
Dr. Bruno Cucco completed his undergraduate studies in Physics at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in Brazil. He then pursued a Master's in Physics at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, also in Brazil, where he focused on using many-body methods to study topological insulator phases in layered materials. Following this, he earned his PhD in Physics/Materials Science at the Université de Rennes in France, where his research investigated the optoelectronic properties of perovskites, with a particular emphasis on how electron-hole and electron-phonon coupling influence these properties. Currently, Dr. Cucco is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas at Austin, working on the application and development of many-body methods for electron-phonon coupling.
